ERISA Litigation Update

Brad Huss will provide an update on recent ERISA litigation matters, including Supreme Court developments, 401(k) fee cases, health plan subrogation clauses and employer stock cases.

R. Bradford "Brad" Huss is a member of the San Francisco law firm of Trucker Huss, APC, which practices exclusively in the fields of ERISA and employee benefits.  Mr. Huss concentrates his practice on qualified pension and profit sharing plans, ERISA litigation, fiduciary responsibility matters and Department of Labor investigations.  Mr. Huss has spoken numerous times throughout the country on qualified plan and fiduciary responsibility matters and has testified before the United States Senate Finance Committee concerning retirement security issues.  Mr. Huss is a Charter Fellow and a former member of the Board of Governors of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel.  Mr. Huss is a past member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, a former chair of the Employee Benefits Committee of the Section of Tort Trial and Insurance Practice of the American Bar Association and a past President of the San Francisco Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference.

This lunch meeting will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel, 7450 Hazard Center Drive, San Diego, California 92108. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for registration and networking, and the presentation will run from noon to approximately 1:00 p.m.  The reservation deadline for this meeting is Wednesday, February 13.

We are continuing our free guest program!  San Diego Chapter members may bring a plan sponsor company employee as a free guest to this meeting.  We will accept a total of ten free guests per meeting; additional free guests will be given priority registration for the next meeting.  Each plan sponsor company may be a free guest only once, but you are welcome to bring additional employees as paid guests.
